Police Commences Physical/Credential Screening Of Applicants For Benue State Origin

Benue State Police Command has called applicants of Benue state origin who applied for the 2023/2024 Police constable recruitment exercise, the physical/credentials screening exercise has been scheduled to begin from 8th January 2024 at Rank-and-File Mess, Ogiri Okoh Road, opposite Police Headquarters, Makurdi at 7.00 am daily.

A statement on Friday, 5th January 2024 signed by the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Anene Sewuese Catherine said that applicants are required to visit https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print their invitation slip which contains the date and time of their screening. Candidates are to report at the screening centre dressed in clean white T-shirts and short on the scheduled dates specified in the printout with the following mandatory requirements neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passports attached:

i. Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Hospital.

ii. Evidence of good character from the Village/District Head of the applicants.

iii. Certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.

iv. National Identity Number (NIN) slip printout

v. Original and duplicate copies of credentials; O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age

vi. Print out of Application form

vii. Duly completed Guarantor’s form.

viii. Invitation slip

“Any Candidate who fails to present the above-mentioned items will not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise.

“The Commissioner of Police, Benue State Police Command, CP. George Chuku psc(+) has called on all candidates to conduct themselves orderly during this period and assured them of adequate security during the exercise, the statement said.
