August 9th 2024, a beautiful Friday will for a long time in history be remembered as memorable for members of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) under the leadership of Dr. (Mrs.) Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun.
A moment of great ecstasy, fun, joy, fulfilment and amusement as members of the POWA family under the leadership of Dr Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun, organized sports fiesta, youth empowerment and capacity development, not without parade donning their spouses’ police uniforms and ranks as part of the numerous activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of POWA.
The colourful event was graced by members of the POWA family, stakeholders, well wishes, partners and host of others who have enjoyed Dr. Elizabeth Egbetokun’s led POWA milk of kindness.
Dr Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun fits well into the description of allure, aura, sartorial elegance, finesse and embodiment of beauty. These, she has rubbed on POWA under her leadership.
She is a classy woman. A delectable ravishing beauty that cannot be ignored.
She pays attention to her skin and beauty routine – more reason she still maintains her beauty and looks more like a 23-year-old damsel. She is a highly celebrated POWA National President of Prestige.
Despite her highly placed current status, Dr Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun is soft at heart and passionately committed to the growth and development of not only members of POWA but children, most especially the girl child.
Dr. Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun has always been a strong advocate and campaigner for increasing the conscious upliftment of women in society, youths, and children. She has continuously used her various platforms to support and help the needy, by facilitating the provision of shelter, empowerment by skill acquisition, business support schemes and educational accessibility.
POWA, under the leadership of Dr Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun, since she assumed office as the National President, has empowered thousands of women with its various life-changing programmes and projects. This is evident across the 36 states and the FCT where there is a presence of POWA with the distribution of equipment and gadgets for self-reliance.
These items include but are not limited to deep freezers, sewing machines, grinding machines, hair dryers, and bags of rice, amongst others.
She has taken every woman and child as a priority in her programmes as POWA National President. Not leaving out the vulnerable women and wives of fallen Police officers.
Dr. Elizabeth Egbetokun has demonstrated her belief that fostering inspiration and promoting inclusivity is essential for the empowerment, development and contribution of women in the Society.
There is no gainsaying that, Dr. Elizabeth Egbetokun’s commitment towards promoting entrepreneurship, ensuring self-reliance, and provision of tools and resources for women and members of POWA to thrive in their chosen endeavours and business pursuits is and should be celebrated.
As POWA clocks 60 years of greatness, there have been unknowns, risks and challenges, but, Dr. Elizabeth Egbetokun, has remained undeterred. Instead, she stimulates.
Dr. Elizabeth Egbetokun’s reign as the National President of POWA is truly a beacon of light.
