One of the reasons why the Police Service Commission Joint Union was vehemently fighting the Nigeria Police Management has finally been revealed as an alleged list of unqualified candidates who did not apply but were recruited by the PSU has surfaced.
Our reporter on Thursday came across a list containing 17 names offered to an honourable member from Kano State.
It was further gathered that the Honourable member gave his social media team 10 slots while the remaining went to his party members
Further investigation shows that the majority of the candidates were surprised to see their names on those recruited by the PSC.
There are allegations of money for recruitment where those who passed the medical test were replaced with those who didn’t apply.
Recall that the Nigeria Police Force has sounded the alarm over alleged irregularities and corruption that marred the recently released list of successful candidates in the ongoing 2022/23 police constable recruitment.
