The Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has said that responsible Journalism is key to good governance, irresponsible journalism is key to bad governance.
Pantami made this assertion on Monday when he received the management and Editorial team of Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust Newspaper who paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry’s Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
The team was led by the Executive Director/Editor-in-Chief, Naziru Mikailu and were in the Ministry to seek collaboration on; Digital Journalism and Co-Creative Contents
The Honourable reiterated the importance of digital journalism, stressing that it will save time, cost, resources among others.
The Minister said “the world today is about digitalization, our role at the Ministry is to provide policy direction and supervise the implementation.
