Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Health Centre In Amuwo-Odofin

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the newly-constructed Senator Oluremi Tinubu Amuwo-Odofin Modern Primary Healthcare Centre.

The governor, who was accompanied by his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, and members of the State Executive Council, said that the project was a demonstration of the modest achievement entrenched in the T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda.

He said his government was committed to ensuring developmental projects, qualitative education, healthcare, intermodal transportation, completing phase one of the blue line projects, and also the commencement of the second phase, rebuilding the Navy Town road, which would be completed before the end of the year, among other projects.

He, therefore, urged people in Amuwo Odofin and Oriade to continue to live in peace and harmony with each other and co-operate with the government at all levels.

Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Council, Valentine Buraimoh, said the ultramodern primary health centre named after Senator Oluremi Tinubu in recognition of her children-oriented programmes and initiative as the First Lady in Lagos was designed to serve as a mini general hospital with wards, laboratory diagnosis hub, mini theatre, consulting rooms, among others.
