The Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Babaji Sunday, has said that that there was no invasion by armed men on the Abuja residence of Senator Sani Musa representing Niger East Senatorial District in the hollowed chambers of the National Assembly.
According to a press release signed by the FCT Police Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Josephine Adeh said that contrary to false publications being peddled by some media platforms who have failed to verify information in a bid to be perceived as “breaking the news”, there is no invasion on Senator Sani Musa Abuja residence.
“The CP, in line with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police, has carried out a strategic review of the security architecture in the FCT with improved deployments where necessary, DSP Josephine Adeh said.
CP Babaji Sunday, therefore, urged residents of the FCT to disregard the publication as the contents are false and targeted at causing unnecessary unrest amongst FCT residents, while vigilance is strongly advised, suspicion or abnormal occurrence is to be reported to the Police.
Recall that an online platform, POLITICS NIGERIA said that assassins numbering nine stormed Senator Musa’s home in Abuja around 11 pm.
