A Chieftain of the APC, Mr. Gbenga Solomon, JP has extended his condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.
​In a statement released on Monday, Solomon described Mama Lydia as a pillar of strength and a woman of great character who dedicated her life to her family and community. He noted that her passing is a significant loss not only to the Yilwatda family but to all who knew her.
​”My thoughts and prayers are with Professor Yilwatda and his entire family during this difficult time,” the statement read.
“Mama Lydia’s legacy of kindness, wisdom, and selfless service will undoubtedly live on through the lives she touched.”
​Solomon urged the APC Chairman to take solace in that his mother lived a long and impactful life, raising a son who has contributed immensely to the nation’s political landscape.

The statement concluded with a prayer for the repose of Mama Lydia’s soul, asking God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
