The second batch of stranded Nigerians evacuated by the Federal Government through NEMA from the war in Sudan has arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja today at 3:10 pm.
According to information obtained by Swift Reporters on the NEMA website, the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Dr Nasir Sani Gwarzo along with the Director General NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed received the returnees.
The returnees are being profiled, and fed and will be given a token of N100 USD to support them at their various locations.
Dangote Foundation, a philanthropic organization is also present to give them support before they depart from the airport.
Also present are representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NCFRMI, and NIDCOM.
Recall that the First Batch of 376 Nigerians stranded in Sudan Evacuated Back Home by The Federal Government Through NEMA arrived in Abuja Wednesday night at about 11:30 pm.
