The Management and Board of Swift Reporters has congratulated the Group Chief Executive Officer of the NNPC Limited, Mal Mele Kolo Kyari on the conferment of the prestigious award of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) on him by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Publisher of Swift Reporters, Adewole Kehinde said this in a congratulatory message on Monday in Abuja.
Adewole described the award on the Group Chief Executive Officer of the NNPC Limited as well-deserved.
Kyari’s roles in the Passage of Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) having suffered several setbacks for close to 20 years is another sterling achievement that warrant the honour.
Adewole recalled that under the management of Mal Mele Kyari, NNPC Limited Published the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Audited Financial Statement and Posts N287 billion Profit, the first time it will record such profit in 45 years.

According to the letter conveying the national award to him, Buhari approved the honour him in line with the National Honours Act No 5 of 1964.
The OFR award, according to the letter, will be formally conferred on him at a ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
