The Young Innovators Of Nigeria Seek Partnership With NIPOST On Digitalization

The Postmaster General/CEO, of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST), Tola Odeyemi earlier today Thursday 8th February 2024 received in her office the Young Innovators of Nigeria who paid a courtesy call to seek collaboration in the growth and development of the country’s technology ecosystem.

The team which was led by the Founder, Andrew Abu, congratulated the Postmaster General on her well-deserved appointment and believed that her extensive background in Information Technology would transform NIPOST into an enviable organisation.

He added that he recognises the transformative impact of technology on the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria, saying the Young Innovators believe that collaborating with NIPOST can contribute significantly to the growth and development of the country’s communications and technology ecosystem.

Speaking further, Abu stated that the extension of the partnership became necessary looking at the structure that NIPOST have across Nigeria which will be of help since the Young Innovators work at the community level and are very close to people at the grassroots.

In her response, the Postmaster General appreciated the team for thinking of NIPOST in a positive light saying since her assumption to office she has been working closely with stakeholders in an effort to reposition NIPOST and make it competitive again

Odeyemi gave assurances of working and partnering with companies that are open to new ideas and Young Innovators inclusive.
