To Governor Inuwa Yahaya, Development Of Gombe Is Always His No.1 Priority

.Bigger Than Even His Second Term Bid

As both parties and politicians become more preoccupied with preparations for the 2023 elections and one-term-governors are busy planning for their continuity bid, the atmosphere in Gombe State appears different.

The incumbent governor, His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) considers the time a golden privilege to deliver more to the good people of Gombe State.

Well, one may think that at this time the governor will be executing white elephant projects that may earn him cheap political points to anoint his continuity bid, but to the surprise of many, Dan Maje is thinking ahead, his foresight and love for Gombe State are quite enormous.

While other politicians are busy with the 2023 elections, Governor Inuwa is busy planning for ‘GoInvest’, an investment summit that could turn the fortune of Gombe State and course that of the North Eastern Region entirely.

This development is not only indispensable at this critical moment when the whole country is facing serious socio-economic challenges but also timely; It is coming at a time when Governor Inuwa is constructing a one thousand hectares Multi-billion Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park at Dadin Kowa, within the proximity of the completed 39 Megawatt Hydroelectric Power Plant; a legacy project that can employ hundreds of thousands of youths of Gombe State and beyond.

These are the types of projects that will outlive us and benefit even subsequent generations. This is what we need in Nigeria, this is the type of leaders we all are yearning for; selfless leaders with foresight and great zeal for development.

As I congratulate all ‘Gombawa’ for having such a rare gem as a leader, I equally urge them not to allow politicians who are desperate to get power at all cost to deceive them.

Supporting Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s continuity beyond 2023 is supporting the development of Gombe State.

Long live Gombe State!
