The Assistant Inspector-General of Police Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Benneth C. Igweh, received in his office on Friday, 11th of October 2024, the District Grand Master, Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN, of the District Grand Lodge of Nigeria.
He was accompanied by the District Grand Masters of Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Gambia
As part of their charitable works, they deem it fit to give back to society by contributing to the continuity of humanity, which is the motive behind why they decided to donate medical equipment to the Zone 7 Headquarters Sickbay.
While appreciating the gesture of the Grand Lodge, the AIG also called for collaboration in other aspects of policing by way of infrastructure in some of the police divisions under the Zone.
He thanked the members for their benevolence towards the police, adding that “charity work is God’s work” and the charity pays no matter how long it takes.
The AIG was joined by the Zone 7 management team and other senior officers to receive and interact with the donors.
