The University Of Abuja Alumni Association has appointed a Caretaker Committee in pursuant to the University of Abuja Alumni Association Board Resolution at the end of its meeting held on Saturday, 19th of December 2020.
In a resolution jointly signed by the Alumni Association Chairman, Board of Trustees, Mr Eno-Richard and Legal Adviser, Board of Trustee, Egbe Dr Gabriel Adenyuma, the Association said that the expiration of the tenure of the National Alumni Executive Committee as per Article 11 of the Association Constitution without any machinery in place to transit power throughout its Tenure. As such, the Board in exercising its powers as contained in Article 12 of the Constitution summon an Extraordinary Meeting and elected an Interim Caretaker Committee to manage the affairs of the Association and put in place modalities for election, which the last executives failed to do before the expiration of their tenure.
The under listed members present at the meeting were nominated and accepted as Caretaker Committee with a mandate to put in place modalities for election to usher in a new Executive Committee for the Alumni Association , amongst others. They are:

Also, the meeting notified the University of Abuja and the general public that the under listed members no longer represent the Association as its National Executive and should henceforth not be recognized or addressed as such.
