Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima would arrive in Kano today to attend the passing out ceremony of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.
A press release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, made the disclosure in a statement issued, Friday.
He said the VP will be received by the Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf at Aminu Kano International Airport and proceed to the venue in the company of the Inspector General of Police Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun who has been in Kano already in preparation of the event.
He added that the Executive Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf will accompany the Vice President who represents President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the occasion planned to hold Saturday 12th August 2023 by 9am prompt at the Police Academy along Kano Maiduguri Expressway in Wudil.
