The Department of State Services (DSS) has debunked the false news making the rounds that its operatives invaded the Central Bank of Nigeria and arrested its Governor, on Monday, 16th January 2023.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Department of State Services, National Headquarters Abuja, Peter Afunanya, he said that this is fake news and quite misleading.
Recall that some news media had reported that operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) invaded the headquarters of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), cordoning off the office of the embattled governor of the apex bank, Godwin Emefiele.
