The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPC) has disputed rumors that the firm has evaluated ex-coastal, ex-depot, and NNPC retail prices.
The fake news, according to NNPC Spokesperson Garba Deen Muhammed, is clearly created to cause uncertainty and hinder the NNPC’s gradual drive to restore market normalcy.
“The general public and, in particular, industry operators at all levels should disregard this mischievous act of misinformation.
“NNPC Ltd remains focused and determined to reposition itself to provide value to its shareholders while meeting its statutory obligation as a provider of energy security for our country,” the statement concluded.
