SDGs: Prioritising 2020-2030 Rolling Plan To Address Dearth Of Social Services In Nigeria

In the next one decade between 2020-2030, Sustainable Development Goals SDGs is expected to roll out another phase of development to address the unending humanitarian crises in different ranges.

This is after the successful execution of the first phase of the SDGs spanned from early part of the decade from 2010-2020, and rejigged towards the fulfillment of social safety nets of vulnerable Nigerians in the last few years between 2015-2020.

This is amidst global challenges in health, education, economic and social imbalance which the sustainable development had put in place deliberate measures to match the general problems with solutions.

This is also at the background of the endorsements of the critical stakeholders that validated the domesticated sustainable development carried out in the last segment as well as concerted efforts to tackle headlong the new vision of 2020-2030.

In doing this and with the confidence reposed on the management through massive adherents to the global tenets, as convened by the United Nations protocol on Sustainable Development Goals SDGs and the impact on the larger critical Society.

This cannot be attainable without elaborate plans, focused template to monitor, evaluate, reports on the various segments, that will develop new areas of social advancement along with a sustained and refocused the existing ones.

Since the efforts of the global body is in line with the desire and provisions of the SDGs in Nigeria, financial commitment and fiscal discipline is expected to drive the new decade of action in line with the vision and mission of the developed partners.

The strategic implementation plan derivable from the next decade of action of SDGs is geared towards developing a successor plan to the Economic Growth and Recovery Plan(EGRP), in Nigeria in line with the goals.

Preparatory towards the new decade, coming at a time when the global recession which Nigeria as a developing country is not insulated from both the teething and the critical part of it’s consequences, even though it exited just recently.

Therefore ,the proactiveness on the part of the handlers in Nigeria is simplified at a time when more successes was achieved at both the critical and normal situations.

This will also enabled more outlets that is nurtured towards mitigating any other envisaged downturn now and in the nearest future towards human sustenance.

With an already existing template that drive the last decade success story through articulated material and human management of both resources and manpower, it will be an achievable task towards the new decade.

Having navigated all through the humanitarian, natural and global crises, there is no doubt, that the current management under Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire already tested and trusted in the comity of nation’s, with Nigeria at the forefront of the implementation of the global program, alot more will be attained in the nearest future to extricate the vulnerable groups from the shackles of underdevelopment.
