The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu has assured the Vice Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Prof. Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, of continued cooperation and partnership, especially in the area of providing adequate security for the university.
According to a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Enugu State Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said that the CP stated this when he received the Vice Chancellor, who paid him a courtesy visit in the company of the principal officers of the university, in his office at the State Headquarters, GRA, Enugu, today, November 8, 2023.
The Vice-Chancellor had earlier in his speech commended the CP for the pragmatic way he has been handling the security situations of the State, urging him to keep up the good work.
He reassured the CP of a continued partnership with the Police, especially in the area of giving waivers to police officers seeking admission to the school.
The CP was joined by some members of his management team and staff officers of the Enugu State Command to warmly welcome and share ideas with visitors.
