AFENIFERE: Yoruba Youth Group Congratulate Ayo Adebanjo

Pan Yoruba Youth group, Igbimo Odo Yoruba has congratuled Chief Ayo Adebanjo over his emergence as the new leader of pan Yoruba socio cultural group, Afenifere. Chief Adebanjo becamethe new leader of our organization, Afenifere, after its former leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti stepped down due to old age.

In a statement issued in Ibadan on Wednesday and signed by it’s Leader, Olufemi Lawson, the group said Afenifere remains the strongest voice in advancing the interests of the Yoruba race at the national stage and Chief Adebanjo represents the needed character, to uphold such responsibility.

“We are particularly delighted that our leaders in Afenifere, have continued to demonstrate commitments to the ideals of our founding fathers, as their decisions have continually re-energize us to pursue the common good, with an unbending commitment to ensure Nigeria is governed better.”

“Pa Ayo Adebanjo is a brilliant and courageous leader, his audacity is unequalled, and we are convinced in his ability to sustain the legacies of his predecessors, most importantly, the aspiration of our people for a restructured, genuinely progressive and prosperous nation.” the statement concluded.
