…as AIG Igweh charged the officers to rededicate themselves in discharging their duties
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Benneth C. Igweh decorates three newly promoted Senior Police Officers of the Zone to their substantive ranks.
According to a press release signed by the Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP M.B Abdulkadir, said that the officers are beneficiaries of the promotion released by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on 2nd September 2024, from which Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Abuja, benefited with three (3) officers. One officer among them was promoted from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), while two Superintendents of Police (SP) were promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
Moses Iruonagbe was decorated with Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), while Thomas Ilegogie and Oluyomi Timothy Ademola were decorated with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, *AIG Benneth C. Igweh, congratulated the officers and charged them to rededicate themselves in discharging their duties, and to know that hard work pays. He emphasised the need to key into the mission and vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted officers, newly decorated ACP Moses Iruonagbe, appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for recommending them, and the Police Service Commission for approving it. He also thanked the AIG for decorating them and added that promotion comes with more responsibilities, assuring the AIG that they will not disappoint in carrying out any task given to them no matter where they find themselves.
The decoration was witnessed by the Zone 7 management team, other senior officers, friends, family, and well-wishers of the promoted officers.
