Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 7 Command Headquarters, AIG Benneth C. Igweh, received in his office on Thursday a delegation on a courtesy visit from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Abuja, led by the Police Attache, Gong Guangwei.
According to a press release on Friday, 11th October 2024, signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 7 Command Headquarters, Abuja, DSP M.B Abdulkadir, issues discussed surrounding improved and enhanced cooperation and collaboration in the fight against banditry, kidnapping, other crimes, and criminality.
The AIG assured the delegation of the zone’s commitment to bringing an end to violent crimes. He added that the rate of crime has reduced drastically in the FCT in recent times. He further appealed to the delegation to reach out to him with regard to any information or threat.
