The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has said that the correct figure that will be injected through the AKK Project by Q1 2023 is 2 billion scf and not 8 billion scf as earlier reported.Â
According to a press release on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, signed by the Group General Manager Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC Ltd., Garba Deen Muhammad, he said that the error is regretted.
Recall that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) Board of Directors expressed satisfaction with the progress of work on the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline Project and predicted that it would be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
This was made known when the GMD/CEO, Mallam Mele Kyari, took the NNPC Board Members on an official tour of Segment A sites in Abaji Area Council of the FCT on Thursday, April 14th, 2022.
