A former Governorship Aspirant of the APC in Nasarawa State, Alh. Musa Muhammed Maikaya on Wednesday felicitated with Muslims in Nasrawa State as they celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival, urging them to pray for peace and an end to the pandemic COVID-19.
Maikaya, in his Sallah message in Nasarawa State, urged Nasarawa people to remain steadfast and committed to the cause of one, united and developed Nasarawa State.
He noted that despite the current COVID-19 challenges, Nasarawa State and its people had all that was required to come out better and stronger.
Maikaya said, “Truly, times are tough but we are a tough people too. Therefore, I have no doubt that we shall overcome our present pandemic – COVID-19 sooner than anticipated, if we all commit to the Health Protocol against the pandemic.”
“I also enjoin every one of us to contribute in strengthening the bond of unity and oneness that exists among us. This, I believe, will spur us to avoid negative tendencies that could derail our efforts at ensuring faster economic revival and socio-political stability, he concluded.
