The FCT Commissioner of Police, Bala Ciroma has called on the residents of the FCT to remain calm and peaceful.
The CP made the call when answering questions from Journalists on his reaction to the crisis at Area 1 between the #EndSARS and #SupportSARS protesters on Wednesday, 14th October, 2020.
CP Ciroma said no arrest was made as investigation is on going as he confirmed vandalization of about five vehicles during the clash.
He said the quick intervention of the Police prevented further damage as no human casualty was recorded.
It will be recalled that EndSARS protesters who were demonstrating peacefully in Abuja were attacked by a group on Wednesday around 1 p.m.
