Enugu Police Operatives Rescue 4 Kidnapped Victims

…As CP Ammani orders sustained manhunt of fleeing suspects

Police Operatives serving in Iwollo Division of the Command, in synergy with Neighborhood Watch personnel and Forest Guards on Saturday, were rescued in a forest at Akama-Oghe in Ezeagu Local Government Area, 3 males and 1 female victim, reported to have been kidnapped along 9th-Mile/Eke/Akama-Oghe Road, on Thursday, 23rd December 2022 at about 8 pm.

According to a press release on Saturday, 24th December 2022 signed by the Enugu State Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said that they also recovered a black-colored Mercedes Benz car belonging to one of the victims, while all the victims have been debriefed and reunited with their families.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Ammani has ordered Tactical Operatives of the Command to sustain an ongoing manhunt for the kidnapping suspects, who abandoned the victims and escaped due to the intense pressure mounted by the Operatives to rescue the victims and apprehend them.
