Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, has expressed shock over the sudden death of Alhaji Abubakar Saidu, Bana Nupe.
Alhaji Abubakar said he was deeply touched when he received the news that late saidu who is also the Bana Nupe had passed on
He described his death as a big loss to Kin Nupe, Niger State and the nation at large.
Late Bana Nupe, who died at the age of 61 in Bida on Wednesday, has been buried according to Islamic right.
The royal father described the deceased as a humble gentleman known for fairness and justice.
He added that the deceased showed love to the people living in his domain, irrespective of their tribe, religious inclination.
“He was a bridge builder, an amiable personality who is always at home with his people, whose vacuum would be difficult to fill,” he added.
Etsu Nupe condoles the Galadima Nupe’s immediate family, Bida Emirate Council members, his friends and associate and prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased Aljanna fidaus and fortitude for his family to bear the irreparable loss.
Speaking, Alhaji Aliyu Danjuma, Galadima Nupe, said it was disheartening and painful to lose a brother with a great mind that devoted all his life in the unity of their family members.
Alhaji Danjuma pointed out that his demise had created a great vacuum that would be hard to fill.
He noted that death was an expected end of every mortal and enjoined rest family members to take solace in the words of God which say for everything under the sun, there is a time; a time to be born, and a time to die
