Evang Ada Chioma Henrietta Chukwuemeka-Eze Preaches On The State Of Nigeria

… Cautioned prophets who misuse god’s name and predict doom if Nigerians fail to repent

Evang. Mrs. Ada Chukwuemeka-Eze the President and Founder of the Compassionate Ministry today on 18th February 2024 at Redeemed Peoples Mission (RPM) exposed to the congregation. Church that Nigeria is under severe siege and if both the Leadership and citizens fail to turn away from their wicked ways the present situation of things in the country will look like a child play.

In a sermon she titled, “The Trauma of Siege” ” she likened the situation of Nigeria to the condition of the Israelites as highlighted in the Books of I Samuel 23:15 and Judges 6:1-6

And according to Judges 6:1-6

1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strongholds.

3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them.

4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.

5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord.

Demonstrating how Nigeria is under siege as exposed in the above bible text, she said that today Nigerians can’t harvest their farms safely without paying ransom to the. Boko Haramists and those who attempt are sent to the Internally Displaced Persons Camps (IDPC) as refugees in their own country and those of us who feel that we are free are under the siege of hunger and insecurity.

She went further to emphasise that we need God to overcome the siege Nigeria is currently going through.

Quoting Lamentations Chapter 4:11-20.

11 The Lord has given full vent to his wrath. he has poured out his fierce anger.
He kindled a fire in Zion that consumed her foundations.
12 The kings of the earth did not believe, nor did any of the peoples of the world,
that enemies and foes could enter the gates of Jerusalem.
13 But it happened because of the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests,
who shed within her the blood of the righteous.
14 Now they grope through the streets as if they were blind.
They are so defiled with blood that no one dares to touch their garments.
15 “Go away! You are unclean!” people cry to them. “Away! Away! Don’t touch us!”
When they flee and wander about, people among the nations say, “They can stay here no longer.”
16 The Lord himself has scattered them; he no longer watches over them.
The priests are shown no honour, the elders no favour.
17 Moreover, our eyes failed, looking in vain for help; from our towers, we watched for a nation that could not save us.
18 People stalked us at every step, so we could not walk in our streets.
Our end was near, our days were numbered, for our end had come.
19 Our pursuers were swifter than eagles in the sky; they chased us over the mountains and lay in wait for us in the desert.
20 The Lord’s anointed, our very life breath, was caught in their traps.
We thought that under his shadow we would live among the nations.
She warned the so-called Prophets who are prophesying not as directed by GOD but according to their stomachs and events happening around them should stop henceforth ascribing to God what He didn’t say as these acts provoke God the more not to answer the prayers of His faithful dear children
She insisted that if we don’t repent of all these unholy acts we will be in this siege state for much longer.
Condemning the shameless acts of our youths for dressing indecently coupled with the high level of kidnappings, killing and the untoward behaviour of our women and men of God; she asks, how do we expect God to be happy and save us from the siege we are going thru
She maintained that Nigeria today is like the Israelites who did evil before God and were captured and tortured by the Midianites but in our case the Boko Haramist and all groups of agents of darkness as stated in the Bible text causing most Nigerians to be eating from the dustbin.
Today, it is sad to note that most of our best Brains have ‘Japped’ to most of the nations where they are considered as second citizens while our currency is totally worthless with foodstuffs beyond the reach of the common man. What other situation is worse than what we are going through
Highlighting the sad situation of Nigeria, she quoted, 2 Kings 25:1-3
New International Version
1. So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. He encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it.
2 The city was kept under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
3 By the ninth day of the fourth[a] month the famine in the city had become so severe that there was no food for the people to eat.
Today, families are selling their children in order to eat while most of our children are hawking to survive while those in school are being raped.
Purchasing drugs is no longer possible as most of the drugs are beyond the reach of most Nigerians.
She shouted and declared to Nigeria and Nigerians “Our Survival depends on our Survival and not on any government policy!!!”
If we don’t repent the state of Nigeria presently will be a child play to what awaits us in future.
SOLUTIONS TO THE SIEGE:

REPENTANCE! REPENTANCE!! REPENTANCE!! AND NOTHING BUT REPENTANCE!!
If we fail to repent hurricane is coming.
She concluded by encouraging Nigerians that if they repent from their wicked ways, God can restore them to His Glory. She quoted Judges 6:16 NIV to support God’s interest in restoring Nigeria.
The LORD answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”…”
