Ex-Vanguard Photojournalist Loses Property In Domestic Fire Incident

The Abuja home of Vanguard newspaper’s former photojournalist, who covered the State House for many years, Mr Abayomi Adeshida, was gutted by fire on Sunday night.

Several property were destroyed by the fire that broke out while his family members were asleep. Mr Adeshida was out of Abuja when the tragedy struck.

He took to the Facebook on Monday to announce the ghastly incident.

Adeshida gave glory to God that his family members were not in any way hurt by the fire.

Read him: “I thank God for victory over death and sorrow. This was how the year ended in my house where all my woes and worries were consumed by a strange fire incidence today!

“Glory be to the Father! Neighbours rose for us to control the fire before our two industrial gas cylinders could get enough heat to explode and here we are praising God for moving mightily with His hands of grace.

“The year has ended well, and my family and I will continue to serve the living God in good health. No one will be missing in my household and the Lord will always make us conquerors over the plans of the devil.”
