Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, an outstanding Media czar, a public affairs analyst, an avowed progressive, a critical stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP is full of gratitude to God, having led him through the path of life to clock 66 today, January 1, 2024.
Aligning with the words of Waldo Ralph Emerson when he stated that “no duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks”, and attributing the success of his journey to the 66th year to the Almighty God, Eze thanked his maker – the God of the universe for foiling the very many schemes of the devil and his human agents who on several occasions, conspired and devised means to bring his life to an abrupt, unfulfilled end.
In a statement made available to the media, Eze said given the several confrontations of the enemy, no one would ordinarily believe he would be amongst the living to mark his 66th birth anniversary today. After going through series of serious medical checkups necessitated by some health complications resulting into laryngitis- lost of voice, for over two weeks the Doctors informed my wife and I that I have only about four years or so to live. Over 75% of those that went through my experience have all gone.
“My wife, a woman of faith, rejected the report and assembled critical and concerned fellow women of Faith to visit my compound and prayed the prayers that caused God to reverse the prediction of the Doctors and after 2019 which the Doctors pegged as my last year on earth, I am still here praising God. I reserve my testimony on this issue at the appropriate time”.
Due to the nature of his God-given task, Eze said he has earned very dangerous and highly placed enemies who have continually attacked him both spiritually and physically through several motor accidents and in spiritual warfare; but in all God in his infinite Mercy has proved himself worthy.
In a clime like Nigeria, it is dangerous to speak to power, stand and defend the truth but some were created to defer death and fear in pursuance of our desire and hope for a better society and I belong to that class.
Recognizing the roles of his wife, Eze notes that the sacrifice of prayers she has continued to offer on his behalf is enormous and only God can reward her accordingly.
Furthermore, he said “The encouragement my Media Aides and Partners continue to give to me has continued to keep me moving not minding obvious obstacles poised on my way by those who feel that I am a threat to their unholy actions against our nation.

The very many challenges that came with the year 2023, notwithstanding, Chief Eze said the outgone year -2023 was a fulfilled one as God enabled him to accomplish most of the targets he set his mind to achieve, including all his programs towards evangelising the world and encouraging some of God’s children in his own little ways.

MY SINCERE PRAYER FOR US AND OUR NATION
Praying for the country and all of humanity the APC chieftain said being the first child of the year 2024, it is imperative on him to bless all Nigerians and mankind.
He pleads with Nigerians not to lose hope not minding the ugly situation of things in the country and the imposed suffering, assuring that God has not given up on Nigeria.
The above notwithdtanding, Eze highlighted that with all that we went through by the year 2023, the unprincipled and unimaginable type of elections we were visited upon, the level of poverty and hunger, continuous slaughtering of our people both in the North and South without any hope or solution, the unprecedented level of suicidal cases, it is my sincere prayer that God will never allow such a year like 2023 to visit us again as a nation IJN
Dear Father, I therefore pray that every setback, failure or sorrow that I and fellow countrymen, my loved ones experienced by last year, let them not repeat themselves again. Please Lord, let affliction not rise the second time.
He concluded by quoting the prayer of Chief Aroloye Brown, “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Isaiah 54:15.
