Eze Condemns Okocha’s Verbal Hooliganism Against The Judiciary

…Describes Him as an Uncultured Agent on the Frolic of His Own
…Says He Has no Link With the Rivers APC
…Knocks Forum of APC State Chairmen Over their Position on the Rivers APC Crisis

“….The APC Chief called on his colleagues in the media to forthwith, desist from any form of recognition of Mr Tony Okocha, either as Rivers APC Chairman or member thereof, in their publications, as there exists only one lawful and undisputed party structure headed by Chief Emeka Beke, as continuing to do so would mean aligning with political rascals to undermine the authority of the judiciary….”

Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has described Tony Okocha as a jobber and prying agent whose constant preoccupation is to poke-nose into the affairs of the Rivers APC like a snooping rabbit in search for prey.

Reacting to his recent cascade of multisyllabic vitriol against the branches of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), who had expressed dismay over his unruly comments against the judiciary for asking him to desist from masquerading as Rivers APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Chief Eze restated that Mr Okocha is an unruly agent who plays the spoiler’s script for former Rivers Governor and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and therefore a total stranger, unknown to the party in the state.

The APC Chief said the Nigerian Bar Association is aware and the public is notified to regard all comments and nosy-poky indulgences of Mr. Okocha on any issue as personal to him and his overlord – the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and not in any way representing, partly or wholly, the opinion of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

Strongly condemning Okocha’s bile spewed against the judiciary and the body of lawyers in Rivers State—the NBA, in defence of the mendacious tales of his reckless adventures and the political buccaneering of his prompter, Nyesom Wike, Eze called on the NBA to decisively deal with Okocha by putting him where he belongs in order that the pile of loathsome garbage he exudes in media spaces and their unhealthy impacts can be treated.

He said Okocha is morally contaminated, and the loudness of his self-assertiveness has the perceptible tincture to corrupt public manners and therefore portends danger to society, justifying the need for an intervention from a professional body like the NBA and in fact, the judiciary, which are the latest victims of his abrasive display of media rudeness.

Eze called on Okocha and his team of conspirators to take their prying eyes off the concerns of the Rivers APC, stressing that no amount of prompting from his paymasters or smear campaign against the judiciary can confer a dint of authority on him to act on behalf of the Rivers APC or any part thereof, now or in the future.

“The uncultured manners, moral defects, and sense of mental ill-being Mr. Okocha has displayed are such that they merit decisive disciplinary measures, in this instance, expulsion; but the Rivers APC can only take action against a person who is a member. Okocha is not a member of the Rivers APC, his name is nowhere on the party’s register; otherwise,  he would have been expelled long before now. He is just a mole, a jobber, a mercenary on the payroll of the FCT Minister, deployed to cause crisis in the APC,”  Eze noted.

The APC Chief called on his colleagues in the media to forthwith, desist from any form of recognition of Mr. Tony Okocha, either as Rivers APC Chairman or member thereof, in their publications, as there exists only one lawful and undisputed party structure headed by Chief Emeka Beke, as continuing to do so would mean aligning with political rascals to undermine the authority of the judiciary.

Recall that Mr Okocha and others were wrongfully constituted into a caretaker committee to steer the affairs of Rivers APC, by the Ganduje-led National Working Committee in total defiance of democratic tenets, the party’s constitution, and the spirit of the constitution of Nigeria, despite the fact that the tenure of the congressionally elected State Working Committee headed by Chief Emeka Beke, was still subsisting.

The political robbery committed by Ganduje on the prompting of Wike, was however addressed by a court of competent jurisdiction, which reinstated Emeka Beke and his team and asked the “uninvited tombo fly” called Okocha and his club of masqueraders to go home and never to poke-nose or disturb the peace of Rivers APC.

Eze equally knocked Mr Okocha for extending his vitriolic spews on the Governorship candidate of the APC in the 2023 elections, Pst. Tonye Cole for referring to him as a member of the stranded political family of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Okocha had alleged that Pst. Tonye Cole is not a factor in the politics of Rivers State and was merely drafted into the equation by Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, both of whom he described as business partners.

Reacting, Eze reminded Okocha that he was never in the equation when Amaechi picked him from the gutter like a destitute, dusted him and threw him up to the position of Chief of Staff to succeed Wike who was nominated by Amaechi for Ministerial appointment, despite stiff opposition from same people he worships as gods today, including the FCT Minister whom he adores like an idol.

In the same vein, the APC stalwart smacked the Forum of All Progressives Congress (APC) State Chairmen, over their position on the Rivers APC crisis, particularly their recent indiscreet chatter, extolling the National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for his bold act of contempt—trying in vain to impudently extend the life span of the caretaker committee in glaring contravention of a subsisting Court judgement.

Describing the group as a congregation of marauders plundering the spoils gathered by the FCT Minister from the coffers of Rivers State when he held sway as Governor, Chief Eze said the group, by their action, has signalled to Nigerians that the party is averse to rule of law and orders of court and chooses which decision of court it would obey and the ones to bluff.

Eze reminded the forum that the party in the state is safe in the hands of Chief Emeka Beke as Chairman, and no amount of conspiracies can thwart a position that has been cemented by a competent court of jurisdiction.

Referring to Okocha as an unfortunate development in the politics of Rivers State, Eze said the mischievous character of the Rumuigbo community remains one of the biggest political mistakes of Chibuike Amaechi during his days as governor.
