……Says no Kidnappers hide out within the FCT
The Police in the FCT on Wednesday commences raids on untended bushes and abandoned structures within the city centre and suburbs.
According to a press release signed by the FCT Police Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Josephine Adeh, ANIPR, she said that members of the public will witness heavy visibility policing and an in-out sweep of the Territory.
The Command spokesperson further said that while at that, the Police urged the good people of the Territory to be well informed, and exercise calm bearing in mind that it is the Police at work; to eschew the promulgation of panic erupting news with misplaced facts.
She also called on Abuja residents to support the police with useful information.
“The arrested persons will be screened and profiled while erring parties will be charged to court, the statement said.
Recall that the Police Command on Tuesday 2nd August 2022 promised residents that there will be voracious intelligence gathering and Intelligence-led raids among other security measures.
