Maj Gen Mohammed Ibrahim-Gana, retired, has commiserated with the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, Umaru Majigi family, Bida Emirate Council and the entire people of Kin Nupe, over the death of the Shaba Nupe, Alhaji Abdulmalik Ndazhiko-Ndayako
Gana, who is also the Dan Magayaki Nupe stated this when he pay a condolence visit to Etsu Nupe in his Wadata Palace on Sunday
He said that, the death of the amiable late Shaba Nupe was not only a loss to the Emirate, but to the entire Nupe kingdom, Niger state and the country in general.
Dan Magayaki described the death of the late Shaba Nupe as “a monumental loss” to the Kin Nupe, especially now that the country desires pious and trustworthy community leaders that would preach and dwell on things that can promote peace and tranquillity, as well as foster the unity of the country.
“The deceased showed love to the people who live in his domain, irrespective of their tribe, religious inclination and in spite of these, he was a Godly man who had the interest of his subjects at heart above any other thing,” Gana averred
Dan Magayaki Nupe noted that, the deceased was a committed technocrat, patriotic leader and a de-tribalised Nigerian.
“Though God has His reason for taking him at this point in time, as the people of the Emirate had enjoyed his fatherly advice, which will be greatly missed,” he added.
Gana however prayed to God to grant his soul eternal rest in Aljannatul Fildausi, while praying God to grant the Etsu Nupe, Umaru Majigi ruling family and the people of the Emirate, the fortitude to bear the great loss.
