In what may be referred as swift reaction to halt and curtail the degenerating security challenges in the state, Engr Abdullah A Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State conveyed an emergency security meeting on Monday 13th November, 2020.
The meeting which was held in Government House Lafia, had in attendance critical stakeholders in the affairs of security including traditional rulers and heads of security in the state.
The emergency meeting may be occasioned by the recent kidnapped and subsequent murder of the state APC Chairman, Mr Philip Shekwo in Lafia the state capital as well as the assassination of one Adamu Haruna in Anguwan Gwari, Nasarawa town yesterday.
