Gov Abubakar Bello Says Kwara APC Crisis Will Be Resolved Amicably, Without Sentiments

Niger State Governor and Chairman North Central Governors Forum, Abubakar Sani Bello has assured that the crisis in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State will be resolved amicably among all aggrieved members.

Governor Sani Bello, who is a member of the National Caretaker/Convention Planning Committee, disclosed this to journalists after a meeting with the Kwara State Chapter of the party held at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

The NCGF Chairman assured that, though it is a difficult task, the committee would ensure the issues are addressed with fairness and without bias adding that, while the interest of the party will be ultimately considered, he is optimistic that the outcome will be favorable and acceptable by all parties involved.

He identified communication lapses as one of the problems of the party in Kwara State, promising that the committee will work assiduously to foster peace and unity which will help in strengthening the Party.

The Governor said all resolutions will be reported back to the National Caretaker Committee after a week for necessary actions.

The reconciliation meeting was chaired by the APC National Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe as well as other members of the National Committee and critical stakeholders of the Kwara State Chapter of the Party.

The NCGF Chairman also held a closed-door meeting with all the North Central States Chairmen of the Party to discuss issues that will further strengthen the Party in the region.
