…….Appreciates Mr President for his Appointment
The Governor of Kano State, Dr Umar Ganduje has appreciated His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR for appointing Dr Isa Pantami to lead the Communications and Digital Economy sector, describing his performance as outstanding, which has moved the Ministry to the Next level.
The Governor also appreciated the Minister, Dr Pantami for the good working relationship that exists between the Ministry and the State Government.
Gov Ganduje further solicited collaboration with the Ministry in the areas of capacity development, digital literacy, digital skills, eGovernance, digital infrastructure, and digital agriculture.
Responding, the Minister, Dr Pantami disclosed that the Ministry has already mapped out projects to be deployed in the State such as world-class data and ICT centres in line with the blueprint of the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy for a Digital Nigeria.
The Minister called on the state government to embrace digital agriculture, stressing that smart agriculture is the way forward which is less cost-effective and will enhance efficiency and productivity.
