Governor Adeleke Inaugurates Review Panels, Direct Recovery Of Looted Assets

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has directed various panels and committees he inaugurated to track looted public assets and review all post-July 16th appointments.

According to a press release on Wednesday, 30th November 2022 signed by the Spokesperson to the Executive Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, said that while inaugurating four different panels on Tuesday, the State Governor represented by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi lamented the widespread pillaging of government assets, tasking the panels to right the wrong and discharge their mandate with a sense of urgency.

The Executive Governor further reassured the people that he will not back down on his resolve to stop all post-July 17th illegalities, assuring that Osun state payroll pre-July 17th remains intact.

While describing his administration as a Government of rule of law, the Osun State Chief Executive said his administration has not sacked any worker on the Osun payroll as of July 17th, noting that those with issues to explain are those who entered the payroll after July 17th.
