House Of Reps Committee On Police Affairs Commends IGP Egbetokun, Its Management Team On Cordial Working Relationship

House of Representatives Committee on Police Affairs led by its Chairman, Hon. Makki Yalleman Abubakar on Thursday met with IGP Kayode Egbetokun and its management team at the Force Headquarters Abuja.

The purpose of the visit, according to the committee, which is chaired by Rep. Abubakar Yalleman, is to give the IGP and his management team the chance to fairly interact with the Honourable members and develop strategic ideas that will further strengthen and empower the Nigeria Police Force, given the threat of security challenges the country has faced for decades.

Concerning cutting-edge security issues including kidnapping, armed robbery, banditry, terrorism, and other social vices. He gave the Nigeria Police his word that the 10th Assembly, led by Tajudeen Abass, would exert every effort to pass laws that would solve the nation’s security issues for the good of all Nigerians.

He expressed his gratitude to the honourable committee members who accompanied him to the Force Headquarters for the visit with the DIG, the IGP, and other management
