IGP Deploys CPs, DCPs As Plateau State Election Police Officers

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has posted CP Mamman Dauda, CP Njoku H. Eronini, DCP Isah N. Danladi, and DCP Rashid B. Afegbua to monitor and take charge of the election security in Plateau State in a bid to further strengthen the credibility and fairness of the forthcoming 2023 general election in the state.

According to a press release signed by the Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo, the senior police officers are posted as follows: CP Mamman Dauda as CP Command, CP Njoko H. Eronini as Commissioner of Police in charge of the Plateau South Senatorial Zone, DCP Isah N. Danladi as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Plateau Central Senatorial Zone, and DCP Rashid B. Afegbua as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Plateau North Senatorial Zone

The Police Command assured the general public of adequate security of lives and property before, during, and after the general elections.

The Command also warned potential mischief makers who planned to foment trouble during the elections to abort their mischievous plans as the Police will not treat such persons with levity if arrested.
