Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe, has decried the death of 4 persons in the early hours of Monday in a fire outbreak at the residence of late famous businessman, Alhaji Ahmadu Kabareni.
The late Kabareni’s family house at Efu Kabali Gulu area of Bida went up in flames at about 1.00 a.m. resulting in the death of 4 persons, including his two aged wives and two grand daughters.
It was also gathered that properties worth millions of naira were also razed down.
Reacting to the incident, the Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, Etsu Nupe, who is also the Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, described the inferno as very unfortunate.
According to Alhaji Abubakar, the death of the people was very saddening, while lamenting the loss of the multi million naira property.
The Etsu Nupe prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased person Aljannatul Fildausi.
He also prayed to Allah to grant the family the formidable fortitude to bear the losses.
The Royal father also prayed to God to prevent the recurrence of the unfortunate incidents.
Speaking, shortly after the burial prayers for the deceased victims, the Chief Imam of Bida, Ustaz Adamu Liman-Yakatun said the death was disheartening and painful, while urging the family to accept the incident as an act destined by God
He noted that death was an expected end of every mortal and enjoined his family to take solace in the words of God which says for everything under the sun, there is a time; a time to be born, and a time to die.
