The decision to bring back the annual empowerment program to the root; Ikwuano LGA for the 4th time was in line with his promise to always reserve the best for the people of Ikwuano. The priestly and father in faith from The apostolic church Ikwuano and other denominations offered blessings in prayer for Gods protection and direction in favour of  Dr Israel Ibeleme and wish that God will continue to uplift him and the foundation that  powered the event and make vision always come alive.

Dr Israel Ibeleme in his remarks, recounted in brief the memories of his journey in life and how poverty drove him to the streets of Port Harcourt where he wore one shirt,  a trouser, turned sandal and had one of the broken transformer on the street of port Harcourt as his wardrobe and place of abode as he could not afford accommodation.  In his journey of life he was beaten and battered, hated and discriminated by people around, who called him a mad man because of his one shirt and a terteeed trouser  identity. Deeply provoked by this tides of nature against his destiny he woke up one night and challenged God in prayer to change his story and made vow to worship God all his life and serve the needs of the poor if God grant his petition. The All mighty and all knowing righteous and faithful God saw the sincere intent of his heart and granted his prayer one month after this divine encounter.

It happened that the former wife of late president Musa Yaradu visited Rivers State to lunch a special program organised by Dame Judith Amechi wife of the erstwhile governor of Rivers state HE Hon Rotimi Chibuike Amechi now the Minister of Transportation. The official photographer for the occasion who was a friend while shooting the event the  camera suddenly developed a fault and there and then he was asked to assist with the coverage and with his little camera he took advantage of divine calling and undertake the task successfully. From that moment he rode from street boy to the government house and the office of the executive governor where God located and placed him; and like Joseph and made him a hero and star before men and Kings.

Dr. Ibeleme also hinted his efforts which attracted the giangatic water project with solar power in Obunta through the help of HE Hon Rotimi Chibuike Amechi, Dame Judith Amechi, Hon David Iyofor for living his dreams to put smiles on Ndi Obunta. He also acknowledge the legislative role and support of Hon Samuel Ifeanyi Onuigbo as all these through the ministry of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) produced the dividend of democracy in Obunta. He assured Ndi Eze and members of Ikwuano community that he will continue to collaborate with responsible organisation and other arms of leadership in Ikwuano to attract benefits in favour of our People.

Today it is all history as this journey to royalty has remains colourful and still expanding frontiers and horizon to date courtesy of His Excellency Hon Rotimi Chibuike Amechi Honourable Minster Transportation Federal Republic of Nigeria and his amiable wife Mrs Dame Judith Amechi whose love has continue to decorate the life of Dr. Israel Ibeleme. Worthy of mention is Hon David Iyofor the man God used to order his steps and unveiled the destiny of his colourful journey.

Dr Israel Ibeleme is in his early 30’s and has travelled wide across the globe. The Israel Ibeleme foundation was birthed to assist him keep tab with his vision of outreaches to the poor and vulnerable indigent persons in our community and Nigeria at large. He is living the vision according to God’s will and purpose. He is charismatic, down to earth and lover of the poor and God’s work.

On this note the programme ended with a vote of thanks as he attribute all that has happened at the event as the handiwork of God almighty whose compassion fails not.

He specifically requested for one thing dear and uppermost in his hearts from the communities to continue to remember him in prayers for God’s divine intervention in the life and affairs of Ikwuano LGA.  He further requested for regular prayers for His Boss Hon Rotimi Amechi and amiable wife Dame Judith Amechi that God will continue to guide, protect, reward and use them to accomplish purpose in Nigeria.

One behalf of Ibeleme foundation, the Nigeria Port Authority and host of friends and well wishes he wishes every one God’s love and journey mercies back home.
