Mohammed Fawehinmi in Time…

Not that he could ever be forgotten, but the cycle intensifies that memory and it compels a pointed celebration of life. Mohammed Fawehinmi’s life.

A prince truly passed on when he dashed across this place like he had more important missions to undertake further into the universe. We had him only for a brief spell.

He held the fort for his father, a freedom fighter like none else. Held the fort, yet grew into his own. Mohammed meant Gani left himself like that.

Mohammed exhibited fortitude in the face of crushing fate. He showed the ‘Fawehinmi integrity’ against daunting odds. He pressed against tyranny and oppression.

He was a great team player and an uncommon clarion caller.

From year to year, age to age, the story of a great man would be told, and so would the story of his son…Rest in Power, Mohammed Fawehinmi.
