The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP Victor Olaiya has extended his greetings and felicitations to all Muslim faithful during the 1445AH/2024 Eid el-Fitr celebration.
According to a press release on Tuesday, 9th April 2024 signed by the Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, said that Eid el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is a time of spiritual reflection, gratitude, and celebration for the Muslim community worldwide. It is a period that signifies the values of forgiveness, sacrifice, compassion, and unity.
The statement read, “As a measure to ensure the safety and security of everyone during this festive period, officers and men of Kwara State Police Command have been deployed around the state to ensure the safety of citizens. Tactical teams are working assiduously to prevent crimes of all kinds, ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for all residents.
