Maikaya Development Foundation has donated a 500KVA transformer as part of its contribution to the completion of an ongoing electrification project in Toto LGA of Nasarawa.
The Chairman of Maikaya Development Foundation (MDF) Alhaji Muhammed Musa Maikaya donated on Tuesday at Toto.
Mohammed Musa Maikaya, a one-time governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress said the transformer is the biggest in the market and set to impact the electricity landscape of the community in ways that will benefit businesses, cottage industries as well as the pact on the general comfort of residence of the community.
The Chairman of MDF also embarked on several projects which include the perimeter fencing of the Toto cemetery which has given the cemetery a befitting modern look and provided the required safety and conduciveness.
Alhaji Maikaya also hinted that several capital projects are currently been considered and will be embarked upon soon.
”We are determined to bring development initiatives and projects to the community that will attract significant transformation and also woo investors to our community,” He said.
One of the recent achievements of Maikaya Development Foundation was a football tournament that saw the presentation of medals and trophies to winners of the football competition that included some security operatives for their show of responsiveness to duty in Toto.
