Niger State: Gov. Sani Bello Commiserates With Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Maigoge

The Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar
Sani Bello has condemned the armed banditry
attack that took place in Maigoge community in the Mariga Local Government Area of Niger
State, he described the attack as “sad and
unfortunate”.

He commiserated with families of the victims of the attack and has assured them that both the state and federal governments are determined and working assiduously to bring an end to the carnage being perpetrated by the bandits.

The governor added that even though
saboteurs and collaborators have been a major
setback in the fight against banditry, the
Nigerian Army are relentless in fishing out the bandits from their hideouts.

He urged members of the communities to
assist security agencies with valuable
information about miscreants and their
informants.

Governor Sani Bello reaffirmed that the
commitment of his administration to protect
the lives and property of Niger State citizens will not be derailed by the indiscriminate violence against innocent people orchestrated by bandits.
