NITDA’s Activities Are Youth Centric – Kashifu Abdullahi

The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi has disclosed that the most of the Agency’s activities are youth-centric as the youths can easily comprehend and adopt any new trend on Information Technology geared towards the growth and development of the country.

The DG made this known today while receiving delegation from Arewa Student Forum (ASF), who paid a courtesy visit to the Agency to sought for IT interventions within the Northern province and also conferred on the DG, an award as Grand Commander of Arewa Students (GCOAS) for his immense contributions to the growth and development of IT in the country.

]Mallam Abdullahi stated that ICT is the key enabler and driver of diversifying the economy from oil. “ICT have contributed a lot to the growth of the economy which is in line with the present administration’s focus.”

The DG said, “I believe in building an institution not in building an individual because when you build an individual that person can reign and go but when you build an institution it will always stay and perform”.

NITDA boss encouraged the students not to relent on their efforts of sensitizing youths on basic social ethnics across the nation.
