The PDP Campaign Council Chair said: “We are set for tomorrow’s event, and visiting here today, you will agree with me that four years ago an event of this nature would never take place here, but with the performance of the governor, the world will see his developmental strides starting from here which will be the take-off point for his re-election campaign.
“This venue shows the good works of Governor Obaseki which are enough reasons for his re-election in the state”.
Chief Orbih said the governor has been in the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the state, adding that the reality has made the state government put measures in place to check the spread of the infectious disease.
“With the seating arrangement, it’s clear that we want to reduce the number of people that will come into this venue. We have Edo people in mind; we are conscious of the health of our people, that is why we didn’t use the main bowl as our intention is to reduce the number of people.
“Our governor is caring; he is concerned about the safety and health of Edo people. He is here to see things for himself and that the arrangement is in compliance with the COVID-19 preventive measures,” he said.
