Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin, President of the Centre for Change, has strongly condemned the horrific attack on Senator Ubah, another Nigerian, in which human lives were lost.
She urged all Nigerians of goodwill to come together and demand that the nation’s security system be overhauled, according to a news release issued by Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin on Monday, September 12, 2022.
“How many lives must be lost before we effect State Police?
“We pray for the repose of the souls of the deceased and fortitude for their families to bear the loss, Dr. Odumakin said.
Recall that on Sunday, the convoy of the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial Zone, Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah, was attacked at Enugwukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to eyewitnesses, the convoy was ambushed by heavily armed men who opened fire on his convoy from all directions.
Some of his aides were killed including some police officers.
