Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has sent a message of condolence to the former Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Senator Solomon Ewuga over the death of his pilot daughter, Miss Adzuayi Ewuga.

Adzuayi was the Pilot of the ill-fated Twin Otter Aircraft on Thursday in Yaounde,  Cameroon.

The late Pilot along with 10 others died when the aircraft crashed near Nanga Eboko, about 150km (90nm) northeast of the capital, Yaounde.

The plane operated by Caverton helicopters was a DHC4-600 with a registration marking TJ-TIM.

The Governor asked the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that late Adzuayi lived a short but eventful life worthy of emulation.

He noted her contributions to the local and international Aviation industry saying “ She left positive impressions. She will be sorely missed”.

Ortom prayed that God in His infinite mercy grant the deceased eternal rest just as he prayed that God gives the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.
