The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has directed the most senior career heads across all the Local Government Council Areas, the Area Office, LCDAs, and ACDAs in Osun State to take charge of the affairs of their respective Councils with immediate effect.
According to a statement signed by the Spokesperson to the Executive Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, said that this is in compliance with the judgement of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo that sacked the purportedly elected Local Government Chairmen and Councilors.
Recall that the Osun Local Government Election was held on Saturday, 15th October 2022, and on Tuesday, 18th October 2022, former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola inaugurated the elected Council Chairmen into all the 69 Local Government Areas, Local Council Development Areas, Area Councils, and Area Offices in the state.
