The Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps {NSCDC} Osun State Command, Agboola Sunday has assured members of the public of an improved service delivery to the state, saying the command would continue to work hard to justify the trust reposed in the Corps.
Commandant Agboola made this known at the opening of a 2-day leadership training organised for all Heads of Departments, Units, Area Commanders, selected Divisional Officers, senior officers and junior officers across the state command, between 26th and 27th September at the State Headquarters, Onibueja, Osogbo, Osun state.
According to a statement Thursday, 28th September 2023 signed by the Civil Defence PRO Osun State Command, ASC Adeleke Kehinde, said that Commandant Agboola also hinted that the leadership training was organized to enhance capacity building of personnel, which is in tandem with the vision of Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, for global best services.
He further said that the command under his administration would continue to aim at robust productivity and enhanced service to Osun state.
The training which was organised by the command in partnership with Destiny Development Initiative with the theme ‘’ LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION’’ focused on leading for impact as security personnel in a challenging security environment.
In his lecture, the resource person, CEO of Destiny Development Initiative (DDI) Mr Segun Oduyebo said the training was meant to impart great leadership qualities in men and officers of NSCDC. He also urged the participants to develop themselves further on the skills and knowledge acquired at the training. He opined that while interfacing with members of the public, personnel of the command would allow lessons learnt to reflect positively in their official conduct.
